There is no gift more difficult to seek and buy than to decide on gifts for men. Creative though one may be, thinking of unusual gifts for the men in our lives takes a lot of thinking! First, remember that men prefer gifts that are handy and useful. Anything that can be added to a key ring would be welcome. It helps if it is something related to his interests. Most men are interested in gifts related to technology and anything motorized or electronic. A watch, digital camera or MP3 player would be much appreciated.

Second, remember that the gift also depends on his age. If we were talking about Dad, a unique cigar box will be much appreciated. If he doesn't smoke, then buy one associated with his hobby or sport. If Dad, is a couch potato, give him a really nice sports shirt and see if he takes the hint.

Third, consider the occasion. You may have a great antique watch but if it's his birthday and he's sensitive to age... then do move on to your next great gift idea.

Fourth, consider your relationship with this man you are going to give a gift to. For instance, glow-in-the-dark undergarments are not good for your new 'pal'.
